Jan Thorpe – Your Trainer
Public Speaking
Jan is an experienced public speaker and trainer. For the last two years she has been a member of Toastmasters International and is currently VP for Education at a local Speakers club - affiliated to Toastmasters International. She was recently invited to Luxembourg to share her expertise and assist colleagues in setting up a toastmasters club and is in the process of starting up a new club in the Dorchester area.
Speech Training
Until recently, Jan worked as a trainer in a large corporation. She now facilitates public speaking seminars. She also gives motivational speeches and runs assertiveness and confidence building courses. She is a CDP (Continual Professional Development) registered presenter and her courses are certified by CDP service.
Wedding Speeches
Jan has a degree in scriptwriting for film and television, and thus fully appreciates the difference between the spoken and written word. This has given her the requisites for helping others with their wedding speeches. She is able not only to write the speeches, but offer personal coaching in delivery.
